My mom has dementia and it really stinks. I started this blog to help me try and cope with this awful disease and maybe it could help others. I wrote this poem. I hope you like it! Have a wonderful day and stay cool! 😊☀️☀️☀️☀️
I know dementia
Oh how I hate you!
You’ve stolen my mom
Away from me
She used to be a person
Who would get up and
Do things
And go to work everyday
And take care of her children
And grandchildren!
Now because of you
She only lays down and
She barely eats anything!
She’s wasting anyway
To nothing
It’s because of you
You terrible dementia
Oh how I hate you!!
Go away
Far away
And don’t ever come
Back again!
