My mom

My mom has dementia and some days it’s hard to bear it all. Sometimes I just have to laugh it’s not very funny but it’s the only way to get through it. You have to take one day at a time. I hope you have a great day!

I miss my mom

So much!

I wish I could go back

When she was free

From all of this

Disease.

It’s not fair

That I care

So much!

It’s so hard for her to

Go through this

And all I can do is sit

Back and watch

And wait

For her to be set free

From all of

This!

I don’t want to lose her

But right now

I feel like I already

Have.

I really hurt for you as I know how hard this all is—but you are indeed her daughter and she is still your mom—despite what an ailing brain is registering!!
    Hang in there!!!

I truly believe that your Mom right now is okay within herself. She isn’t really aware of the changes that have taken place….You have because you’ve seen. I know that it really hurts to lose the ‘essence’ of someone you love…. Just know you need to take care of yourself too. Diane

You have a very hard road to travel. I watched my husband’s grandpa go through this years ago and it is so very difficult. My prayers are with you.
