Today was busy we had to take my mom to the dermatologist to have her skin checked. Please pray everything is alright and everything comes back normal. It just adds to all the stress but we are going to get through it somehow. It seems like the summer is flying by so fast. Anyway my daughter wanted to move out of the house a couple of weeks ago and now she decided that she would rather be home at this time. It’s fine with me so I wrote this poem. I hope you like it. I miss her
The girl that has
Been with me
All of my years
And that just brings
Me to more
Tears!
I know she wants to
Be on her own now and
Do things for
Herself!
But I miss her
So much!
I remember when she
Was little and now it
Seems like so long ago
When things were slow!
I know she has grown-up
And I have to let her
Go!
But I really don’t know?
I’m her mother and I
Always will be
Nothing she can do
Will ever change
The love I have
For her!

I’m leaving for university later this year, and I know my parents are going to be upset seeing me leave, so your post is really moving and relatable because I understand both perspectives you portray and the conflict between what you want and what your loved ones want, even though ultimately both sides just want each other to be happy 🙂
