I wrote this poem because I’ve told you about my mom but my dad has been with my mom through everything. And he deserves a lot of credit because he helps her so much and he is very sick himself with major health issues. I have been so blessed to have two incredible parents. I hope you like it and I hope you have a wonderful weekend. 😊
My dad
When I think
About him
It makes me
Want to grin.
He is a quiet
Guy.
But he tries
He takes good care
Of her.
Even when it’s
Very hard.
And long
Don’t get me
Wrong
He cares so
Much for her
And he needs a
Gentle touch
From you
Too.😊🌼

That’s so lovely sometimes the carers get forgotten. As my dear dad used to say before he passed. ” There nothing down to getting old Elaine, don’t get old.” 😉 and I used to reply, “that’s something that we can’t change dad”
