Sometimes we go through things in our lives and it involves a lot of waiting. I have gone through many things and I wrote this poem one day when I was real upset because of my long wait. I hope it helps someone know that they are not alone.
Sometimes I want to cry
But at least I have tried
So many times
Im not giving in even though
I’ve been through so much
I know you will answer with just sweet
Touch
You go before us and make our paths straight
Even though we have to wait.
Wait on the Lord be of good courage and he shall strengthen your heart wait I say on the Lord. Psalms 27:14

Some years ago I was in a summer of waiting. This is the verse that I hung onto for dear life. I hope it also comforts you.
8“But if I go to the east, he is not there;
if I go to the west, I do not find him.
9When he is at work in the north, I do not see him;
when he turns to the south, I catch no glimpse of him.
10But he knows the way that I take;
when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold.

I have turned to Job so many times. So many times! There are so many lessons from that one book and this one man’s trials.
